leviathan and old testament

Eletania.

If the vision of Eletania really depicts a leviathan, then he was there from the start with the same shape.

If not, then probably the idea of leviathan was already there and fleshed out during ME2 and ME3.

But I really think the sea monster idea was there from the start.
all the themes we're working onstarted in ME1.

So what do you think?

That BW already wanted to use the name Leviathan for thematic (e.g., Old Testament) reasons, and then shaped him like a sea monster accordingly?

Or that they designed a sea monster for whatever trivial reasons and then thought Leviathan would be an appropriate name?
